New Media and Sport: Repeated Confrontation with Failure on the Example of Ice Hockey Coach Josef Jandac

This thesis deals with the relationship between new media and sport. The main research problem is the repeated confrontation with failure on the example of professional ice hockey coach Josef Jandac. The aim of the presented thesis is to examine how Jandac's media image evolved on selected new media platforms (news websites and social networks). We also want to explore to what extent the content presented by each new media differed and whether confrontation with failure prevailed at certain times. Qualitative content analysis constitutes a means to achieve set goal. Based on the mentioned research method, articles from sport websites and posts from social networks were analyzed. The first group of sources includes the internet portals iSport.cz, Sport.cz and iDNES.cz/Sport. The second group of sources consists of comments by users on the official Facebook page of HC Sparta Prague and posts by Spartan supporters from the SHS fan club discussion forum. The research file contains a total of 132 texts (68 articles and 64 posts). The thesis is organized into theoretical, contextual and analytical section. More specifically, the research is focused on the secretive private military company (PMC) Wagner Group. Wagner Group has been deployed around the globe to further the interests of Russia and is a key tool in Russia's opportunistic foreign policy. This paper seeks to answer the research question: At what point does the risk for Russia become too high to maintain the deployment of Wagner Group in a foreign country? Factors influencing the successful inclusion of Children from Children's Homes into the independent Life

The Diploma Thesis deals with the topic of Factors influencing the unsuccessful inclusion of children from children's homes into their independent life. At the theoretical level existing knowledge concerning institutional education are summarized as well as the knowledge about factors influencing the integration process of children from children's homes into their independent life. The work aims to find and to name the factors which according to the opinion of children themselves caused them to be unsuccessful in the entering of the independent life. Another aim of the fork is to find out whether it is possible to propose any recommendations leading to elimination of the factors. The aims of the work were achieved through a qualitative research survey in which seven children told their life story. They left Children's home Dolní Počernice more than a year ago. At the same time their entry into the independent life could be qualified as unsuccessful according to the chosen criteria. Prague: Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague, 2012, 114 pp. Diploma Thesis. The aim of my diploma thesis was to map the main cause which take part in premature end of foster care in our country. I have recorded this problematic since the year 1996 up to now. I have focused on definition and forms of foster care. Further on the process of its arrangement and the starting conditions which have an influence on foster care. I have introduced and compared the results of two big Czech studies which were devoted in this topic and were published in the interval of 15 years. Besides the failure cause of foster care on the foster parents side and children entrusted into a foster care and the system of alternative family care I have also focused on factors which contributes to its success on the other hand. In the practical part I have tried to get more deeply into the cause of foster care failure from the view of social workers from OSPOD. It contains opinions of the customers and the employees. The aim of this thess is to assess the situation in a particular small business, to find and to specify the causes of the failure of the company and then to propose possible changes and solutions.
The influence of positive thinking on the quality of life of people of working age people of working age

This work deals with positive thinking and its impact on quality of the life. The theoretical part describes positive thinking, what affects it, and if is the possibility to change the thinking. It further describes concept of quality of the life and with it the most associated term the Health. In following chapters, I deal with concepts of optimism, pessimism, and the conclusion of theoretical work form chapters about failure, success and goals.The practical part contains data obtained from the questionnaire, which is aimed on finding the quality of life. To determine the quality of life was used assessment method named SEIQoL (KŘIVOHLAVÝ, 2001). Another part of the research includes interviews with selected individuals and finding a way of thinking by using the scale of prevailing way of thinking (Slezáčková, 2012). In selected individuals are results of SEIQoL methods compared with the results of the scale prevailing way of thinking.
Potential causes of a failure in the case of small and middle sized enterprise

This bachelor thesis examines possible causes of an busi-ness failure in case of a shortly established fashion shop belonging to the category of small and middle sized enterpri-ses. The target of this thesis was to evaluate the development of this business during the last three months and the potential for its failure. As a basis for this evaluation was used the business plan and its comparison with the actual develop-ment after three months of functioning. Besides finding the potential causes for failure, the author's aim included also recommendations for their avoidance in the future. In writing of this thesis the author used, in addition to the paperwork of the business in question, that is, the owner's documentation, also information and facts obtained through her own research.
Causes of the enterprise failure in the case of small-scale and middle sized enterprises.

This bachelor's thesis analyses possible causes of the enterprise failure in the case of small-scale- and middle sized enterprises. Variety of available and relevant researches were used in order to cover this topic properly, mainly the CSO(Czech Statistical Office) and the EC(Economic Chamber). Furthemore the own author's experience in this field was taken into account. This thesis was beeing processed in the time of the World Economic Crisis and therefore it partially also deals with this current issue. Firstly, the intention of this Bachelor's thesis is to avaluate possible causes and secondly to suggest conceivable sollution. However, the main goal is to draw the attention to potential impediments which could be unpleasantly surprising to the starting enterpriser and therefore should be as such bewared for the sake of avoiding needless problems.
